Found on meteorite hunting trip in Texas while going to different farm houses and asking about meteorites. The property owner told Rob Reisener and I that he had found a bunch in front of his house and along the road many years ago from farming. The meteorites were in a box in the barn.The box had numerous meteorites in it. He told us we could have a couple of the meteorites.
We offered to pay for the meteorites but he would not take our money. He told us we are welcome to hunt the property when ever we want . Due to high winds we were unable to thoroughly hunt the farm fields. We have plans on returning and checking out the area more . The meteorites have been classified and are from an old strewn field.
